A Different Kind of Coaching

Traditional coaching happens indoors sitting across a desk, eye contact, a slightly formal space. And for many women that works well. But sometimes the best thinking happens outside. Walking, breathing, moving. Nature has a way of grounding you that four walls simply can't. Side by side, we walk. You talk. I listen, ask the right questions, and gently challenge what needs challenging. With each step the noise settles and what actually matters starts to come through.

What you get

A free 30-minute online consultation call before we begin to understand where you are and what you most need.

Sessions take place in nature a local park, woodland trail or open space in and around Bath. We walk side by side in a relaxed, judgement-free space. You talk freely. I coach.

Most clients find a minimum of three sessions gives them the depth and momentum they're looking for. Monthly sessions work well for most women, though we can adjust to suit your pace and life.

About Rae

I'm Rae a career coach for women in midlife, and the founder of Coaching Women to Shine. I am an accredited Senior Practitioner with EMCC Global.

I created Nourish & Flourish because I know what it's like to feel better outside than in. Walking helps me think, process and land on clarity I can't always find at a desk. Many of the women I work with feel the same.

I'm 48, recently diagnosed ADHD, peri-menopausal, and a single parent. I've navigated my own crossroads leaving a 25 year NHS career to build something that felt more like me. I'm not saying you should do the same. But I do know what it feels like to carry a lot and need somewhere to put it down for a while.

That's what these sessions are for.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: What can I bring to the coaching session(s)

Whatever is on your mind. Many women come with a specific intention, a decision they can't make, or a feeling that needs to change. Others arrive with no agenda at all, just with a sense of restlessness they want to explore. All of it is welcome. We will find your focus together.

Question 2: How long does the programme typically take?

Most of my clients prefer to meet monthly, typically working together for 3-6 months. If you would like to meet more regularly we can disucss this in the consultation call.

Question 3: What if I’m not sure about my goals?

That's perfectly okay. Part of the process involves exploring your values, strengths, and what truly matters to you now. You don't need to arrive with clarity, that's what we are here to find together.

Question 4: Can we flex indoor and outdoor if needed?

Yes, we can discuss this on the consultation call. If life is particularly full and online takes some of the pressure off, we can adjust accordingly. Flexibility is built in.
